About Us
We provide free tutoring services to children in chronic care.
Children's Cancer Alliance is dedicated to improving the lives of children diagnosed with serious oncological or hematological diseases. When children are required to spend extended periods of time outside the classroom in chronic care, their academic progress is halted. We have assembled a team of tutors to supplement hospital and home visits by teachers. Our tutors work with children in both inpatient and outpatient care. Tutors meet with students several times a week at the hospital or clinic, communicate with children's teachers, and organize activities to stimulate development and compensate for weeks, months, or even years spent away from school.
CCA is located at the Fountain Valley Regional Hospital Medical Complex.
